7 years running

Going to be upgrading my rig soon, so I'll be retiring this old psu, in favor of a newer Rosewill. Hopefully I'll have the same performance from that one.

Bought it in the summer of 2007... I run my computer 24/7, and it's still hasn't failed. My specs are EVGA 8800 GTS 320 gb, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Dual Core CPU, Nvidia Nforce 590 SLI mobo, 5 Western Digital HDD (1x2TB, 2x1.5TB, 2x1TB), and 1 DVD/RW drive

None

6 months no problems

This power supply has been great for the price, seems well built and reliable (time will tell).

Quiet fan ; looks great ; plenty of power ; good price

Not modular (but I knew this when I ordered) ; The spec sticker on the side of the unit started peeling off after a month or so

Purchased 3, but all 3 are defective. They would not power up

Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL

One egg off for the inverted SATA connectors; otherwise a great item, especially for its price. Good for cases where the PSU is mounted at the top, otherwise look somewhere else if you are worried about cable management.

Decent power rating, so far it works well for a basic gaming PC. All the wires are wrapped in mesh netting allowing for everything to be organized quite neatly

The 5-pin SATA connectors are all upside down for a case with the PSU on the bottom. Previous PSUs I have worked with the wires come from the bottom of the case, connect to the HD or optical drive, and continue up to the next component. With this one...

Died after 4 years

This is my first power supply failure in the last 10 years, and I have about 8 PCs running continuously.

Worked fine for 4 years

then, wouldn't turn on. Used in a system powered on continuously for 2.5 years, received only moderate use the remaining 1.5 years. I have another of this same model which are still working fine after 4 years

Powers everything you need.

This is a cheap and stable PSU for your gaming needs. Some people say Rosewill PSUs are a shot in the dark, but I guess I got lucky.

Powered everything I threw at it and runs very well. Right now I'm powering a GTX 770 and a FX 6300 stock. Has all the connectors you need, including an 8pin and 6 pin PCIE. The blue light is also purty

No cons so far

3 years and still chugging

The fan control is more of a gimmick. I started to have power issues at one point. I guess the PSU was over heating so I simply switched it to the highest setting and the problem went away. Even added a second GPU to the rig to push my PSU even harder...

Runs great havent had a single major issue ; has protected my internals from sudden powerdowns several times

Blue LEDs

Poor choice by NewEgg

Part of package put together by Newegg person. I love buying from Newegg

Why would someone at Newegg put together a system package that has RED leds for the case fans and BLUE leds for the power supply??? I know you want to get rid of the Rosewill products, but REALLY

Consumer review by:

Great Power Supply

Totally reliable, no problems at all ; Runs cool and quiet ; Plenty of power for a single-GPU system

None that I can think of

Consumer review by:

Great case for the price

Everything went together well, no issues

Felt a little cheap, but for the price it's great
