I really wanted to like this thing..

I read many reviews on this psu before I purchased it and I have it a chance after seeing mostly good reviews. I wanted to like this product but sometimes I guess you just get a bad one. I'll probably keep it for a spare or a future lower power project.

Fan is quiet, lights add a nice touch to the computer

This psu only worked consistently for about 7 months. Recently while playing games, specifically Assassins Creed 4, my computer started randomly restarting. I figured out that my power level was dropping after a while and it would cause my computer to...

looks good and works great

high output for a low price, looks good with its blue led fan, tons of connecters

not modular

SIX AND A HALF YEARS and still going strong

I bought this right at the beginning of 2008. It has outlasted three computers, each of which used SLI and heavy water cooling and overclocking, I just keep putting it in the new ones. Nothing has rusted, the fan is as silent as the day I installed it,...

There are no cons. It's a perfect power supply

Long Lived and Still Kickin'

I purchased two of these in 2010 (4 years ago) for my computer and one for my sister. Both are still kicking and one of them I've just sold for a new upgrade. Have not had a single issue with these Rosewill PSU's. They are a great value and I would be...

Strong Steady Voltages ; Looks Great ; Lots of Plugs ; Plenty of Cable Length (mostly - see Cons)

The CPU 4/8 pin power cable could be longer. Had this bottom mounted in an Antec 900 and it was a stretch to reach the board connector

Failed after 7 months

This power supply started to cause my PC to reset constantly with no warning. At times it would work for normal use, but when a game was fired up, PC would restart. Heating is no issue. I ran many checks and constantly monitored. I replaced this power...

Quite

CPU power cable is not long enough for a full tower

Pleased

would buy again

price ; cable length ; molex - which i dont use, but if you did it has it ; plenty of extra cables for lots of components ; the sleeved cables are nice ; over a year use and still strong

not being modular is really only the con

Four Years of Solid Performance

I would definitely buy another, if it was modular. I loved the blue lighting (though not the obnoxious flickering as it breathed it last gasps these past few weeks), as it worked great with the rest of the blue lighting that came with the case. As it...

I purchased this PSU in December of '09, and it failed me today, May 31 2014. It was a rock solid power supply, delivering stable power through some pretty adverse conditions. I left my PC on for weeks, sometimes months at a time. It kept going through...

It finally gave out on me. My SATA rails went first, corrupting two 2TB data drives and eating my linux install SSD. Then the fan gave out, and no amount of cleaning would get it to spin again. After that it was inevitable that it would shut down from...

finally died

i bought this in 2008 or my first gaming pc build. in 2010 i built my super gaming machine and gave my parents (who were running a 2003 dell with a p4) my 2008 build. today after 6 years of service it has finally died. impressive to say the least.

quiet looks good and powerful

no modular cabling (well i bought this in 2008 with my first pc build)

Got my moneys worth I think

It's a good PSU. There's better ones but nothing wrong with this one.

Worked great for about 3 years. Heavy usage. At least 15 hours a day or more

Just stopped working one day after about 3 years of heavy use. I've seen PSU's last longer but I feel I got my moneys worth out of this one
