Shuttle XPC SB61G2 v3.0

Shuttle's never-ending march towards total world domination in the SFF arena continues unabated. Despite plucky persistant ankle-biting from the likes of Biostar, ASUS and IWill, Shuttle continue to lead the way

I entered into my first SFF review for HEXUS with an open mind, mindful of previous XPC systems I'd come across during non-HEXUS work, but unwilling to let those positive experiences cloud my judgement. Previous reviews of Shuttle systems at HEXUS have...

Shuttle SB61G2R RefleXion XPC

Shuttle SB61G2R 20th Anniversary Special Edition XPC System Limited Edition, Super Limited Edition, Very Special Super Limited Edition With A Cherry On Top. The hardware world seems to be littered with not just standard components that do their job...

Just perusing the box contents informed us that this XPC had potential in more than one area. We alluded to the fact that it attempts to take the best parts of the current Intel XPC lineup and morph them into a single, super Shuttle small form-factor...

Great System

(i bought the system here from newegg) This is a great system that has offered rock solid performance... when its up. I have only had two problems with this, the powersupply went out (i had to buy another) and now my wireless died. A word of caution....

Lovin Every Minute Of It

Got this back in May. It was the first time I ever did it piece meal like this. Will probably never go back to pre-configured. Got it with a 2.8 GHz HT CPU, 1 GB RAM and such. Back in August I also picked up an ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 256 MB card. It's a...

This computer died on me about a month ago. Stopped turing on. RMA'd it w/ newegg and I had a new one about a week later. NEWEGG ROCKS! It can be quite loud! I also have a SN45G and it is virtually silent and the SB61G2R sounds like a room fan when it...

Awesome box - but watch which processor you choose

This is an awesome box. Very well put together and very well thought out. I've put together many systems and was impressed with the quality. When running a P4 DO NOT choose the 'E' processors (Prescott). My system runs ~50d C at idle and has hit 73d C...

Shuttle SB61G2R - 20th Anniversary Special Edition Intel Pentium 4 / Celeron Intel Socket 478 Intel 865G Intel Extreme Graphics 2 Barebone

Just to clarify, I bought this machine 6 months ago and it does work with the 9800xt just fine. You might want to get another fan. I got a thermaltake 74cfm fan with speed controller. This power supply can handle more than you think. I have a gig of...

to answer your questiong

umm, it says it has an open APG slot "Expansion Slot: 1x PCI, 1x AGP", so theres really no reason why ur AIW card shuldnt fit, the only thing u shuld be worried about it the small power supply, and if itll be about to power all that stuff at once

great computer just it cant hold the Radeon 9800xt due to the size but a Radeon 9800pro will fit just fine. small size, minimal weight, and wireless LAN makes this computer a great buy for any one who loves to build there own computer.
