Good, not great

Lots of complaints there but I'm still using it daily and working through the issues. Since Comcast started handing out those little digital boxes for all of your non-HD DVR rooms I've been annoyed with them and watching pretty much everything on this....

Would be silent with an SSD. This is the first time I've ever cared about HD noise. Works great with local & network files

Windows 7 home premuim ; Can't get the DVD drive to read movies. Not sure whose fault that is. Driver disks loaded fine. Movie name shows up in MyComputer. VLC, Boxee, Media center. No Dice ; Can't play Netflix HD streams. 3800 is out of the question....

Shuttle XS35GT Intel Atom D510 (1.66GHz, Dual Core) Intel Socket BGA559 Intel NM10 Next-generation NVIDIA ION graphics 1 x HDMI Barebone

Great price. Install memory, SSD and XBMC Live. Had system up and running in about 15 minutes. A few tweeks of XBMC and I'm watching 7.1 DTS 1080p videos with only about 6% CPU usage. Sweet

10 minutes later sytem starts freezing intermittently. The longer it's on the worse it gets. Reformat HD, reseat mem, install Openelc.tv with same results. If I let it cool for a while system will restart and run for about 10 minutes and do the same....
