Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Case Review

We will review an entry-level case from Thermaltake, V3 Black Edition. Will it keep up with the quality seen on more expensive models from this brand?

Excellent ventilation: room for two fans on the top panel, one on the front panel and one at the bottom panel ; Meshed 5.25” bay covers ; Air filters on the 5.25” bay covers ; Air filter for the power supply fan ; Screwless mechanisms for fastening...

No thumbscrews to hold the side panels ; No eSATA port ; Depending on the size of your CPU cooler you may not be able to install fans at the top panel ; Could have come with an air filter on the bottom and front panels ; No anti-vibration mechanism for...

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition ATX Computer Case

One thing that manufacturers never seem to get right is a really cheap computer case. There are probably a hundred cheap cases from a number of manufactures, but they'll likely ...

Attractive black chassis and design ; Motherboard tray CPU cut out ; Worthy features: SSD slot, tooless clips and built for cooling ; Most affordable black chassis computer case ever ; Quality made materials

Includes only 1 cooling fan ; Acrylic window just big enough to tease you ; Could use a couple more drive retention clips

Moving around to the back of the chassis, you can tell once again, that it’s all black. You can also see there are two smooth, machined holes underneath the back cooling fan. These are in case you decide to add water cooling to your system. While...

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition

Value seems to be a major buzz word in today's enconomy. Endless companies have stumbled in attempting to deliver true value to their consumer. Today we find out if Thermaltake's V3 Black Edition truely delivers in it's value promise, or does it come...

Good performance ; Motherboard cut-out for easy CPU bracket removal ; All black interior ; Perfect price point

Only one included fan ; Screw less mounting brackets are flimsy and do not function properly

Objectivity speaking, Thermaltake has designed a good performing chassis at a great price point. Obviously, this chassis isn’t for everyone, but for its intended market it is a great value. When you factor in the cost of additional fans, the price...

Great Tower

It is not the best looking Tower, but it gets the job done and keeps the air moving.

Good Tower

This is a really good tower. Keeps everything super cool. I put 4 blue LED 120mm fans and it stays ice cold. Lots of air flow. The case could be a bit more quality made because it is kind flimsy but overall really nice.

Very good case

This is a very good case for the money. I love the neon look and the big case fan. My Mobo doesn't have USB3, so I could not connect the front USB slots which are only USB3. There should be a choice. Other than that I'm really happy with this case.

Thermaltake Case

This case is amazing. It looks good, And keeps my internals cooled. My CPU idles around 80F degrees. LOTS of airflow, As long as you buy other fans. Disappointed there is only 1 included.
