Random Shutoffs

I have decided for now, I am sticking with another brand, hopefully if I ever need their customer service I won't have to wait as long. I also find Tripp-Lite's software to be less user friendly than others.

Worked well for about two years. Provides battery+surge protection and surge protection only so you can pick and choose what you want to be on the UPS side

My unit was in service for about two years. Then it started to do the same thing as describe in other reviews. It would randomly shutoff, with no apparent pattern for why it would. Fortunately for me, I was using a laptop most of the time so it...

Another randomly shutting off AVR750 :(

I have been a big Tripp Lite fan in the past. I decided to buy this to replace an old APC which lasted 3+ dependable years on the original battery. In the last 19 months, I have walked in to my computer room to see my computer completely shut off...

Randomly Shuts Down for No Reason (as pointed out by other reviewers)

Bought this unit and within a year, it was randomly shutting down for no reason. Contacted Tripp-Lite, and as it was still under warranty, they shipped me a new one. Within a month the new unit started to spontaneously shut down with no warning. ...

shut down problem as well

Not only do I have the same problem with 5 of my Tripp Lites, I suspect damage to computers as well. I have had 3 dells die suddenly, all when the Tripp Lite shuts itself down for no reason. One Dell just died after only 3 days of use.

Computer-& peripherals backup battery works great

I have owned the Tripp Lite 750VA backup battery for nearly a year. It backs up my desktop computer, monitor, router, modem, usb hub and one external hard drive. During two recent power outages, it worked without a glitch, and let me power down all of...

Terrible, buy an Ultra 2000VA UPS

This item is terrible. The problem is that it constantly monitors the quality of the incoming 120V line. If that 120V outlet in anything less than absolutely perfect this awful gadget starts beeping endlessly and stops working. So every time my...

Zero stars if I could....Total POCrap

A used car battery and a sears battery charger would work infinitely better. Worst product I have bought in years.

Tripp-Lite TRIPS-A-LOT

Worked okay for about 3 months, and then started shutting itself down, with no warning, no beeping, nothing. Just shuts down. Starts right back up when you press the ON button, but will shut down again in a day, or in a week, or in two weeks, no...

Product Specifications

Tripp Lite's AVR750U line-interactive UPS offers complete protection for PCs, workstations and other sensitive electronics in an ultra-compact, mountable housing. Prevents data loss and system downtime by providing battery-supported AC output during blackouts and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) during brownouts and overvoltages. Includes 12 output receptacles, 4 of which are widely spaced to accommodate large transformer blocks without obscuring adjacent outlets. 6 outlets feature full battery support and surge suppression, protecting computers, monitors and other vital system components from power loss. 6 additional outlets with surge suppression only are ideal for printers and other peripherals not requiring battery support. Single-line telephone suppression jacks protect modems, fax machines, cordless phones or other equipment with a DSL or standard dialup RJ-11 phone line connection. USB port with included cable and PowerAlert monitoring software enables safe unattended system shutdown in case of extended power failure. HID-compliant USB interface enables full integration with built-in power management and auto-shutdown features of Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
