Digital Cameras - Agfa ePhoto 1680 Digital Camera Review, Information, Specifications

The Agfa ePhoto 1680 is a well-designed and flexible digital camera, with image quality and resolution at the top of the field as of this writing (December, 1998). Features such as aperture- and shutter-priority metering, and a provision for working...

Simply and Great

The first impression of this means very good. You receive for the reasonable price rather decent possibilities compared to professional models of other firms. The liquid-crystal TFT-screen (active matrix) size 5,1 sm on a diagonal (2 inches) is on...

perfect shots, long-focus, easy to use, a lot of features, good software

no support CompactFlash, a little slow, poor batteries

Watch it swivel.

I bought this sleek stylish digital camera almost a year ago when it was probably one of the top of the line models. One reason I purchased it was because I heard it takes crisp photos unlike some other cameras I won't mention. And of course the...

Sharp, crisp, pictures.

Maybe the price could be 400 dollars.

Agfa e1680 - Durable!

I bought this camera to take on an around the world adventure and what an adventure the camera has had and yet it's still going strong! My camera has been through (and into) Venetian canals, thrown off and run over by a bicycle in Amsterdam, dropped...

Hard to find, but worth every penny

I paid over $900 for my Afga 1680 when I purchased it. That's how long I've had it and continue to use it. It was my 2nd of 3 digital cameras I own, and it is still the one I use most often.

Picture quality, Twist body

No viewfinder, no lens cap

Power player Camera

Based on dated reviews I was impressed by Agfa's color rendition of earlier cameras. Especially regarding skin tones. The nickle hydride battery system is unbeatable. Results may vary but I usually get 100-117 exposures on a set of these rechargeable...

Nickle Hydride batteries, ease of use, excellent color rendition

Viewing screen in bright light.

AGFA E1680

I bought this product because of the price versus pixel ratio was decent and it has changeable lens capability. I was able to take extraordinary pictures with the standard lens, and with the optional telephoto and wide angle lens I had fantastic...

Phtographer's Features, Reasonable Price

Switching from film to digital wasn't something I wanted to do. I've used a pair of Olympus 35mm SLRs (an OM-1N and an OM-2) for years, and what I had seen of the photos from most digital cameras just left me cold. While resolution was getting to the...

Saturated, sharp images at all resolutions, twist-style body

Occasionally mis-focuses some subjects in autofocus mode

The Agfa 1680LE is a great digital camera!

Okay, so I finally broke down and bought a digital camera. I did my shopping around, and checked Epinions for feedback about digital cameras. I decided that the Agfa 1680LE was the camera that would suit my needs. After receiving the camera (I bought...

Easy to use, takes GREAT pictures, full of features.

Takes a second or two to actually take the picture after the button is pushed, eats batteries.

Great Digital Camera

I brought the Agfa ePhoto 1680 to replace my big Sony Mavica MV-FD8 that I had for about 6 months. I did not like the resolution of 640x480, so I did research on a new one for about two months before I settle on the ePhoto 1680. The choices that I had...
