Nikon Coolpix S210

The best thing the Nikon Coolpix S210 can offer is a slick design in a small package. Image quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Thin. Light. Good-looking.

Poor image quality. Subpar resolution for an 8-megapixel camera. Very noticeable color fringing. Significant shutter lag.

Nikon Coolpix S210 Digital Camera

This small, solid, and stylish camera is easy to use, but nothing spectacular.

Very simple navigation ; Interval shots and time-lapse video

Power button too close to shutter button ; Not enough custom controls

All the same, for under $200, with its cool time-lapse features, a slim frame, and commendable ease of use, the Coolpix S210 could be just the ticket as an entry-level, all-purpose camera

Another inexpensive, superslim pocket camera in the entry-level point-and-shoot class, the 8-megapixel Nikon Coolpix S210 isn't short on good looks. The S210 is available in an array of understated brushed-metallic colors. Priced at $180, this...

Nikon Coolpix S210 review

With its supermodel-slim body and classy chassis--clad in jewel tones of brushed metallic blue, plum, bronze, and basic black--the Nikon Coolpix S210 will certainly make a style statement when you whip it out of whatever tiny pocket you've slipped it...

Small, sleek, and attractive; some nice features for the money.

Relatively slow; poor-to-average photo quality for its class.

Though it's stylish, affordable, and easy to use, the Nikon Coolpix S210 performance and photo quality aren't nearly as pretty.

DigitalCameraRoundup.com - Nikon Coolpix S210

The wholesale switch to digital cameras has made something possible that was never possible before: ultra-thin cameras. Without the need to accommodate a standard roll of film, a digital camera can be made much thinner. The cost of designing ever...

The S210 is a point & shooter without manual control. It offers 15 scene modes and also includes a slew of Nikon's in-camera goodies and technologies. The S210 is priced right at US$179 and is definitely a welcome addition to the Coolpix lineup
