Great. Read how to edit HD videos.

Edit videos very fast with those Free Softwares that do not re-encode the video stream (I do not write software...): Mkvmerge GUI, to trim clips (file splitting). Mkvmerge GUI to append clips and make a single MKV. Mkv AUDIOconverter to install updated audio utilities MkvExctract GUI to extract the Canon PCM audio. Besweet GUI to convert PCM to AC3. Mkvmerge GUI to reinsert AC3 in place of PCM. Can now be played on most HDTV with external memory connector (USB or SD) I take no responsibility for inaccuracies or lack of knowledge about the cited softwares.

Good image stabilization, Good in low light, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Great Zoom, Battery, Connectivity, Build quality, Black level, Color

Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS (Black)

Canon was falling a bit behind with its PowerShot Elph series of ultracompact cameras. Not in photo quality, but with features, shooting performance, and overall value. For 2011, though, Canon snapped back thanks to the addition of backside-illuminated...

The Canon PowerShot Elph 300 HS is a fun-to-use ultracompact with excellent photo quality even if just left in auto.

The 300 HS might be too small for some, and accessing its shooting modes other than auto is laborious.

If you're looking for a nice, simple ultracompact for use indoors and out, you'll want to strongly consider the Canon PowerShot Elph 300 HS.

Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS Review

The PowerShot 300 HS is part of Canon's latest fleet of compact Digital ELPH point-and-shoots.

Excellent ergonomics ; Instant startup ; High quality video

Poorly attached port cover ; Flash inconveniently located ; Occasional overexposure

The camera has many interesting features, some of which I've never seen before in any camera, such as its Movie Digest mode. There is really very little to complain about with the ELPH 300 HS and plenty to like.

Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS

Slim and user-friendly with a 24-120mm lens, we thought the Canon 300's images and Full HD video were just right for recording the fun wherever you go, ideal for the target market at this price.

The Canon PowerShot 300 HS is a very capable camera that captures 24mm wide-angle images, yet slips into a pocket with ease. Its 12-megapixel sensor doesn't quite deliver what last year's 12-megapixel CCDs did in terms of print size, but it still...

Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS [With Reviews]

Released early in 2011 – the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS is a compact 12 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom (updated from previous models) and a 2.7 inch LCD display.

The Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS has a very slim profile of just on an inch and weighs just under 5 ounces – so it certainly fits the ‘take it anywhere’ criteria. It's 5x optical zoom is fitted with optical image stabilization. Video is Full 1080p HD...

"The photo color is washed out and not realistic."

I previously had a Canon powershot A570 IS which I loved, so when it died I looked for another Canon model. I use the camera for selling things on eBay so it is important that the photos look like the actual item. I was disappointed to discover that...

Small size

The color of the photos is washed out even on multiple setting trials.
