This camera is for advanced users.

This camera is everything it's predecessor (5dmark2) isn't and more. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the 5dmark2. This camera take extremely high quality high ISO photos.About me... semi-pro photographer, Love capturing special occasions

The narrow depth of field allows this camera to seperate the subject from the background rendering that magic 3D look

If you don't plan on buying high quality lenses this camera is not for you

Great camera especially for weddings/landscapes

I am very happy with the purchase of this camera. It was an upgrade from a 7D. Main reason for the upgrade was that i wanted a FF camera and most importantly i needed as much help with noise as possible since i seem to get wedding gigs at low lighting...

amazing iso performance, ease of use, two card slots

Overal GREAT Camera

Let me first start by say that I am a former Nikon shooter. I sold all of my gear hoping to purchase a Nikon D4. That didn't happen so I got what I thought was the next best thing. Boy was I wrong! I honestly think that for the way in which I use a...

Had been waiting for this one to become available for some time, after all the hype about it, was a little frustrating waiting for it to actually hit the market. Does a great job, I'm very happy with the picture quality obtained so far. Controls are...

Great camera, worth the upgrade

First let me say I'm a pro-sumer, so I primarily photograph landscapes and architecture with the occasional portrait / macro subject. I finally upgraded from a Canon 40D which I have been using for the last four years and longed for a true full frame...

Best replacement for MK II till date

One of the best upgrade Canon came up with for it's 5D series enhancing a lot of technical aspects including the enhanced and better 61 AF points. The look and feel of the product is much more presentable with setting buttons spread nicely around the...

61 point AF is the biggest boost from the earlier model with 9 points only

There is a light leak issue with the MK III with any bodies with the sixth digit of the SN# either 1 or 2
