Canon PowerShot SD3500 (pink)

Nice design; large touch-screen LCD; Eye-Fi memory card support

Slow shooting performance

The Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS offers up decent photos, touch-screen controls, and an ultrawide-angle lens, but that's pretty much where the excitement ends.

Canon's PowerShot SD3500 IS is sort of a follow-up to 2009's SD980 IS in that...

Canon IXUS 210 / SD3500IS

By Ken McMahon (cameralabs.com)Read the full review

The Canon IXUS 210, or PowerShot SD3500 IS as it's known in North America, is the company's second touch-screen model, following last year's Digital IXUS 200 IS / SD980 IS. Eagle-eyed Canon spotters may notice the absence of the words 'Digital' and ...

A great camera for the price, i'm very satisfied"

By JoeWMD (cnet.com)Read the full review

I was hesitant about getting any point and sh...

Great pictures, touch screen, ease of use. My pictures have been in the good to excellent range in terms of focus, color and brightness. An improvement over my prior camera which yielded a host of out of focus shots, especially in dim conditions

So far, after less than a months use, the only con is the access doors for the exporting photos and videos, which seem flimsy and are hard to open. Also, I would have liked a bit more zoom

Love the touch screen."

There are more pros than cons for the SD 3500...

I bought the camera for its wide angle ability. The range, 24mm to about 105mm, is quite satisfactory. The touch screen makes menu searching easy. Color rendition is excellent. Video is easy and fun to use. Does well indoors using available light

Image quality not as sharp as the Panasonic ZS-7 or even my Kodak V550. The scene modes are disappointing. There is not a reliable substitute for the Kodak's "museum" mode. Time to write to the card seems excessive. Time between shots seems long
