Canon PowerShot A2200 - Affordable and Solid

Canon recently launched a range of cameras in India; among those was the Canon PowerShot A2200. The entry-level PowerShot A2200 uses a 14.1 mega pixel CCD sensor and has Canon's DIGIC 4 processo

Canon’s new PowerShot A2200 is a winner in many areas. It offers above average image quality under most conditions. HD video recording capabilities are also a bonus feature, which is rare to find on most cameras in this price range. There are some neat...

Canon PowerShot A2200 (Blue)

Editors' note: Several of the design, features, and shooting options are identical between the Canon PowerShot A2200 and the PowerShot A1200 we reviewed earlier, so readers of the earlier review may experience some déjà vu when reading the same...

The Canon PowerShot A2200 is a simple, reliable, and affordable compact camera that produces nice photos and movie clips.

The camera's shooting performance is slow.

The Canon PowerShot A2200 is a solid point-and-shoot for basic snapshot needs with just enough extras to make it worth its price.

Canon PowerShot A2200 Digital Camera

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

"Not too bad of a Camera and it's shooting HD Video."

To sum everything up I feel that this is a great Camera and like anything it just take some getting use to. I have been a faithful solid fan of Canon for some time now. It's been said that the A2200 is cased in plastic but from the best that I can tell...

First things first for the most part when most give their reviews on this Camera's picture quality they always seem to forget one main factor and that is the Memory Card being used. Not all Memory Cards are going to produce amazing results.

No Stabilizer, No Carrying Case, No Internal Memory

Awesome camera

Takes great pictures, easy to use, good point and shoot in auto mode, many other modes if you want to get creative, rechargeable Li-ion battery, large LCD screen

Easy for the LCD screen to get marked up with finger prints, no definitive place to hold the camera for one-handed shooting, kind of slow to take a picture

Consumer review by:

Good for beginner, nice design.

Friendly design, easy to use

Doesn't have manual control, takes long time to capture picture (compare with other cameras I had used)

I'm being generous giving this camera a 2 star vote.
