Canon PowerShot A610

Manual exposure controls; excellent feature set for its class; great image quality; easy to use, with a convenient function button for quick setting changes; compatible with lens converters and other accessories.

Flimsy SD/MMC-slot and port covers; slightly stiff function button; not quite as fast as some competitors.

The Canon PowerShot A610 puts a great feature set in an affordable camera that produces above-average image quality, making it an excellent option for a wide variety of photographers.

Digital Cameras - Canon PowerShot A610 Digital Camera Review, Information, Specifications

Canon's PowerShot line of digital cameras have always been big favorites of IR readers, valued for their user-friendly design, excellent photo characteristics, and good build quality. The Canon PowerShot A610 is an very worthy addition near the top of...

Excellent value for the money, Bright, attractive color that stops short of seeming overdone, Good skin tones, Auto white balance handles a wide range of lighting well, Better than average exposure accuracy, Good lens, generally low distortion and...

Very inaccurate optical viewfinder, Contrast is a little high, tends to lose highlight and shadow detail under harsh lighting, Flash coverage at maximum wide angle is a little uneven, Some users may prefer lower color saturation (color saturation is a...

Canon Powershot A620 Digital Camera Review

The Canon Powershot A620 is one of the successors to the Canon A95.

Great image quality ; Quick operation ; Excellent battery life ; Many manual modes and creative modes

Slider switch for capture and playback modes can be hard to operate ; Zoom may be too slow for some (but not me) ; If you upgrade from an A95, you'll have to trade your Compact Flash for SD memory

I highly recommend this camera. Its quick operation and image quality provide a camera that will not disappoint. This camera is a great choice for someone who wants top-notch quality, wants some manual/creative controls and someone that doesn't mind a...

Canon Powershot A610 Review

A hands-on review of the 5MP Canon Powershot A610. The A620 is the samecamera but with a 7.1MP sensor. If you're looking for a mid range digicam with lots of featuresand manual control options, the A610/620 should be high on your list

Canon PowerShot A610 Digital 5-Megapixel Camera Review

After having positive experience with Canon PowerShot A520 and Canon PowerShot A95, I was eager to try the new 5-Megapixel Canon PowerShot A610. The A610 is a replacement for the acclaimed Canon A95 and I was able to buy it for only $249. Is it a...

I highly recommended the Canon PowerShot A610 if you need a capable compact camera that produces excellent photos with print sizes of up 13x19 inches, has 4x zoom and uses AA batteries. Weather you want point-and-shoot simplicity or full manual...

The D30 operates just like the other mid-range to professional EOS bodies. Inmanual exposure mode, shutter speed is set with the finger wheel by the shutterrelease while aperture is controlled by the thumbwheel on the back of the camera.

The D60 is a great addition to your existing Canon system. The resolution isapproximately the same as a 2700 dpi film scanner, with no time invested inscanning and retouching.

Love Love Love this camera!! Best camera Ive ever had! I love how you can twist the LCD screen, really good for self portaits. Easy to use with loads of functions. Great zoom. (You can never have enough though. lol)

Its big and bulky. Its heavy because it takes 4 AA batteries. Would be better with a smaller battery. But I thort it was worth it, because the photos were so good
