Canon SD4500 IS

The Canon PowerShot SD4500 IS design features a 10-megapixel CMOS image sensor at its core. The Canon SD4500IS follows in the footsteps of the PowerShot S90, by decreasing effective resolution to ten megapixels, with the goal of increasing low-light...

10x optical zoom in compact, easily pocketable camera ; Large 3-inch LCD display ; Good viewing angle on display ; Display is good in sunlight ; Dedicated movie shutter button ; 1920 x 1080/24fps HD video recording ; Optical zoom works while recording...

No wide-angle lens ; Bright chromatic aberration at both ends of the zoom ; HD video can be noisy ; Smart Auto not as good in low light ; Smart Auto avoids flash at times when it's necessary ; Not enough external controls ; Poor battery life ; Somewhat...

Nice Zoom. Compact. Same basic menu/function interface as my last Canon (sd1100)

A little slow. Battery life could be better. A lot of features are added that you will never use

I got a lemon

I'm hoping to get a new rather than repaired camera back. If I get a new one, I will be better able to review its capabilities.

Good pictures and video. Fast delivery by Newegg (as usual)

Very bad battery life. More importantly, had to send mine in for repairs after 1 month because the lens kept getting stuck in the open position and the LCD had vertical 'snow'. Stop working completely after 1 month. Bad, bad, bad especially when you...
