Amazing high-speed features for size, cost; integrated Eye-Fi support; very good regular performance
Mixed photo quality; narrow lens; noisy AF system; high-speed modes require low resolutions; no optical zoom while recording movies
Casio provides affordable, advanced high-speed shooting for the masses with the Exilim EX-FC100, but other aspects lag behind its class.
There's no doubt the high-speed photo and movie shooting features of the...
Casio has managed to squeeze the extremely high-speed photography and slow-motion video into the EX-FC100, which takes 9-megapixel images (or 6 megapixels at 30 frames per second) and records video at up to 1000 frames per second. While it had some ...
The Casio Exilim EX-FC100 is an utter speed demon of a camera, to the extent we're tempted to put chrome rims and a spoiler on it. The ability to capture still photographs at 30 frames per second, and slow-motion video at up to 1000 fps, in a far more ...

I bought this camera about 3 weeks ago and am still in awe over its amazing high-speed capability. What this little camera can do with action shots is simply incredible.I start with the same disclaimer as in my other camera ...
Great battery life, easy to use (great auto feature), incredible action shots
photo quality is average
I was doing as much research as possible between this and the Casio EX-S12 (see my review of the EX-S12). A neighbor of mine has this camera and let me borrow it for a few days, so I learned a lot. It helped me decide that between the two, I ...
High speed capabilities (if you have enough light)
Picture quality not quite there. Movies are grainy
Great camera
The picture quality is great, especially when using the "Sport" setting for shots with movement. The camera is very user-friendly - easy to navigate to different options. The 30 frame-per-second feature is a fun one also!
Combining a slim-lined body with amazing high speed features, the EX-FC100 is the perfect camera for capturing your friends and family at play.
