Smallest, best user interface, intriguing

This electronic marvel is very precise. it holds so many features with very easy user interface. the minute you hold it you can't return to small size cameras, because they seam to big.Camera connection through the USB brings immediate connection as a...

Perfect device for a non-geek wife!

I bought a Casio EXILIM EX-M2 for my wife and do not regret my choice. She is a casual photographer and her needs are simple: 6x4" maximum size. Why the M2?

easy to use. tiny. audio recorder, MP3 player, camera, and movie recorder in one device.

tiny joystick hard to manipulate. no lens cover. no optical zoom. price.

System Error

The other day I was flying out of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. The flight was delayed an hour, I was in Duty Free and decided to have a look at the cameras.

In the shop it looked good and worked well.

When I got home, it didn't work.

Casio Exilim EX-S2/M2

Puchased the M2 version with the MP3 player and remote, along with a 128Mb SD-card. The camera fits just about anywhere and power-on is almost instantaneous. However, there is no lense cover, so I strongly recommend opting for a camera case (don't put...

Size, size, size ! Well-built and sturdy. Sexy design. MP3 player (EXILIM M2), drag and drop your mp3 files and voila ! Battery life above average.

No lense cover ! weak flash Watch that power button as you will inevitably find yourself turning the camera off instead of taking a picture.

A Damn Cool Point and Click Toy

To start off, this is not a camera for serious photographers; this is a great tech-geek toy with mainstream crossover potential. (In English, it looks cool, and it’s easy to use.) If you take this out on the street, heads will turn. People will...

Perfect conversation starter, great viewscreen, easy to use, lightweight, Cool Factor, 12MB native memory, Movies!

Pricey, no lens cover, Fuzzy Zoom pictures, do I need an MP3-player on my camera?

Casio Exilim EX-S2/M2

This is great for taking pictures anywhere anytime without being noticed. It can be used as a spy or undercover camera!

Thin and small Fit in your shirtpocket at all time and there you go!

No lens cap. It is easy to mark the lens with finger prints.

Casio Exilim EX-S2/M2

Very nice compact camera which already has taken over 400, mainly very good, shots in about 1 month. Travels with me constantly. Battery life excellent. Image quality is rather good considering the size and limitations for the camera.

Very compact, quick to use, excellent battery life, very easy to use for point & shoot type photos. Excellent construction.

I would like to see a charging point on the camera body rather than having to bring the docking statuion on trips. On the same note a direct USB connection would also help.

Fun on the Run

The Casio Exilim EX-M2 is one cool camera. Granted, it’s not even close to the highest resolution available but the pictures are fine for emailing or printing 4x6 prints. You can even get away with 8x10 if you are going to put the prints in a...

Small size, good pictures. MP3 Player

No lens protection, not true 2.1 Megapixels, no optical zoom

Casio Exilim EX-S2/M2

Well what else can one say but SMALL. I like the metal body, but I wish there was a bigger grip area. The camera does what they say, it's fast to start up, and the no lag without the flash is very nice. I get tired of these digital cameras that you...

Small, light, quick to use and the lcd display is alot better then I thought it would be.

Ok, so the lens is not razor sharp but for what I plan to use it for it's fine. I am using it to replace a p&s film camera and for that it's great.

Product Specifications

Casio EXILIM EX-M 2 is just perfect. Super thin and stylish, it is also incredibly functional. A high-resolution megapixel CCD provides 2.0 million effective pixels (2.11 million total pixels) for images that print beautifully. Fixed focus eliminates the need for lens movement, which shortens startup time and shooting time. Simply select the sample scene that matches the type of image you are trying to record and the camera performs troublesome setups automatically for beautiful pictures every time. DCF (Design rule for Camera File system) data storage protocol provides image intercompatibility between the digital camera and printers. Add to this a built in MP3 player and a voice recorder - now you know what's the excellence.
