The Sony Cyber-shot N2 is essentially a 10 megapixel upgrade to last year's N1. It carries over the huge touchscreen, manual controls and everything, plus an improved high sensitivity mode. How fancy an upgrade is the N2? Find out now
3X lens, high resolution in a small body ; Powerful flash ; Above average battery life ; Large touchscreen LCD ; Fairly fast performance ; Manual controls ; Great movie mode ; Well implemented album system ; Fancy playback with the paint feature ; ...
Clunky touchscreen interface (More menus than usual) ; Limited aperture options; no custom white balance ; Very mediocre (Slow and limited) continuous shooting ; Redeye and some distortion; really noisy at ISO 1600
The Sony Cyber-shot N2 packs 10 megapixels and a huge touchscreen into its small casing. The rather powerful flash, manual controls and great movie mode also add the appeal of the N2 to the crowds. Despite offering more manual controls (over exposure) ...

The Lumix FZ50 is Panasonic's latest top-of-the-line fixed lens camera. It still has the 12X stabilized lens from the FZ30 but now it adds 10 megapixels of resolution and all these:

I wouldn't consider the new Sony T50 to be an upgrade to the T30 but here it goes: The Cyber-shot T50 takes the T30, strips most of its buttons and replaces that large 3 inch LCD with a touchscreen unit. Other than that, it's basically the same camera ...
3x internal lens with optical image stabilization ; Strong flash at high ISO speeds ; Excellent battery life ; Large and visible LCD ; Nice close-up modes ; Very good movie mode with zoom ; Good image quality
Clunky touchscreen interface (More menus than usual) ; No manual controls ; Slow and limited continuous shooting ; Redeye and edge sharpness issues
The Sony Cyber-shot T50 is takes everything from the T30, throws away most of its buttons and puts in a touchscreen panel. Other things remain the same; 7 megapixels, internal lens with an image stabilizer, movie mode and LCD visibility.

The Cyber-shot T10 is Sony's "baby T50" with the only differences being design (this one's smaller), a 2.5 inch LCD (versus a 3 inch touchscreen on the T50) and lower battery life. And oh, the T10 is about $50 cheaper than the T50 as well. How does ...

Weak flash ; No manual controls ; Slow and limited continuous shooting ; Redeye and edge sharpness issues
The Sony Cyber-shot T10 is very similar to the T30 reviewed here a few months back. They have 7 megapixels, the same lens and most features in common. The main differences here being a smaller LCD and lower battery life.
