This is my fourth digital and will say that the S2000HD is the best of the four. I really don't know where the editor is coming from with his review. The camera produces incredibly clear pictures and all of the features give this camera pluses.
The camera lacks a hot shoe which many photographers depend on. I use three different types of flash units according to light and settings. The optional camera case is not a hard case so does not sufficiently protect the camera while in its case
