I got this GE X500 Digital camera in early 2011 here and it replaced an old Fuji digital camera which it closely resembles. Picture quality is decent and the zoom is good at 15X optical. It has the features I need to take decent photos and battery life...

We use this camera for work and it does its job with ease. We have had no problems at all with it and the picture quality is above what we expected and we will recommend this to anyone looking for a camera!

The best camera I've had since a Nikon SLR I had 30 years ago. The pictures are clear and have quality that can be enlarged and not be grainy. I wish the batteries were rechargeable, I always take spares because they seem to run out quickly.

Right in between the simple point and shoot and the SLR. The zoom is fantastic!

It's not an SLR but boy it wants to be. I love the wide angle lens and the zoom amazing! Overall awesome.

Bought this camera for my wife. Had to return it due to a stuck shutter. When we got the replacement a couple days later it's been nothing but praise from the wife. Been to the zoo, school functions, ect, pictures are great.

So far this camera is much better than what you may surmize based on the price.

Got this camera as a gift for my wife on Mothers Day. Compared it to a Nikon and a Canon with similar capabilities. This one won out because of reviews I read. The others seemed to have an issue with battery life and I don't plan on carrying around 4...

I just cannot say enough. This camera fits our needs very well. I know very little about cameras so I can only tell you, the pics seem excellent and I can run it. Point, shoot, download, enjoy. I love it, especially the battery life.
