G.E. A735 Digital Camera
I bought this as a starter camera for my friend, but the camera has advanced features, which he can learn how to take a lot more different types of pictures.
It takes beautiful photos of dat, night shots, pictures of people, and all the shots came out excellent. I took a photo of a tree out my apartment window of a tree, and it came out great.

Bought this camera for my son to take to camp. The camera takes VERY SHARP "close ups" -- shot a test photo of a folded American flag and could see each thread; saw a speck of dirt on a flower close up. But our other photos often seem a bit "soft." (I'm j...
Sharp close ups. Good in low light. Settings on dial also appear on lcd screen (large enough for an old guy to see). Impressively easy to use. Very good pictures of nearby subjects.
It seems to be tough to take real sharp (focus) photos of distant and rapidly moving subjects, but no worse than my old Nikon Coolpix 5mp, for example.
