GoPro HERO HD Cam

I probably wouldn't have believed it if I had not seen it for myself. I know there are many pint sized cams on the market but this one really surprised me. I was on a shoot in N.Carolina a few weeks ago filming the sand tiger sharks on some WWII wrecks...

While not strictly intended to be an underwater camcorder the GoPro HERO HD still took some very commendable shots. Topside, though its light weight demands a very steady hand, is where the GoPro HERO HD really shines. Shooting in 1080p produced some...

Great camera package

It would be nice if newegg could offer more gear like this directly rather then using marketplace vendors. I prefer dealing directly with the egg!

Superb camera for what it is designed to do. Great potential for creativity with time-lapse, slo-mo, sports and much more. I tried to assemble the same kit by ording things piece-meal here at newegg and could not beat the package price

The 32gig microSD card included included in the kit is not the best. I decided to install it in my tablet computer and instead bought a 64gig Kensington XD card rated 10 to use in the Go-Pro ; Also beware trying to Erase/Format the microSD card via the...

A steal compared to the Hero2

When I saw the Hero and Hero2 side-by-side in-store and the price difference; $129 vs. $299 I thought there surely had to be some awesome improvement in the Hero2. I mean I could by two Hero's and have $30 bucks left over for the price of the Hero2.

Nearly all the features and video quality of the Hero2 for $170 less! I could buy two Heros for less than a Hero2

Interface and no view of video till connected to PC -- but that's the same with the Hero2

Excellent for shooting motorcycle POV video.

I'm very satisfied with this camera and would recommend it to anyone interested in shooting POV video

They have all the mounting accessories you could ever need

No monitoring screen. (has to be purchased separately)

A gotta have for motorsports

Because I have most of the mounting accessories for the GoPro system, I usually pick up the "Naked" camera. I have a total of 7 cameras mounted all over my Harley Davidson Sportster and am looking to add a couple more in the near future. The menu takes...

My grandson uses it for racing.

My grandson races dirt bikes and he loves it. When he first got it he used it for everything. It fits right on top of his helmet and his dad can view how he is doing when he's in the woods where he can't see him. Best investment we ever made.

Easy to use

Can't view it on an LCD screen on camera

Not top of the line, but for the price, amazing!

I took this camera with me to Belize for a trip and I took it snorkeling. It got some amazing shots and I loved the camera! Unfortunately, it was hard to keep steady. I'm attaching it to my longboard soon and I'm worried it will be too shaky. However,...

Great price, great quality

Shaky video, complicated controls
