For someone who had been intimidated and avoiding a digital camera for years, my wife was able to commence taking pictures effectively within 10 minutes after opening the box.

Ease in operation even for a novice. Compact and light in weight. Good resolution. Liberal size to view pictures. Ease in installing SD card.

Camera is great and easy to use

I like the fact I can bring in this camera, turn off the automatic light, and take pictures in say a museum.

Can start using this camera without a manual, and my kids have a cheaper priced Kodak for their 1st camera. I would recommend this camera for anyone.

The distance part is difficult, but then so are many other cameras I have had that are not digital.
