Great camera for the price.


I was accustomed to using professional level equipment, the D7000 is more of a prosumer level, but it is still a great camera. My SB 800 and my lenses, even my manual lenses work fantastic. The video capture is a nice touch as well.About me... Love...

Excellent noise levels at high ISO's. Pretty decent shutter speeds. Quick start up time

Definitely this camera is not good for a beginner


The camera is amazing!!! Lots of features but unfortunately is not easy to set up initially. You need to read the manual first and this is just the beginning. But the final product is amazing.About me... Parent with kids, Love capturing special occasions

This is my second DSLR, first was an old D40. I have used my new D7000 for a couple of months and it's simply amazing, the quality of the pictures is outstanding, I'm looking forward to get a 50mm lens and a good software to get the pictures edited for...

what an amazing machine!


This is a pretty big step up from my D40. I am amazed at the capabilities and controls. I love the "scene" mode dial, it's great in a pinch to capture the shot in a special circumstance. Fantastic images!About me... Photo enthusiast
