I loved this camera, it was my first digital about five years ago. It's still in service for when I want a pocket camera and don't care about image quality, for instance when I wanted to show my wife a type of couch before I buy it and she couldn't...

Not great picture by todays standards in the year 2003, but five years ago when I got the camera, the pictures were fine. One minor problem, in high quality the camera is supposed to hold 21 pictures, but mine held 20 pictures, once in awhile after the...

my first digital camera bought at an online auction and it helped me sell so many things over the net! The PC interface is just ingenius and takes literally no time at all to transfer the photos, a feature which I adored. The lack of LCD was a minus...

The size of the photo is not a standard photo dimension, so when i used it as a wall-paper, it doesn ; t stretch well but looks great on high resolution

None except deleting the card from the camera's LCD is quite cumbersome

This was my first digicam, back in '97 ... looking more than four years later at the pictures, I see they were not very detailed, but the colours were good. I especially liked the PC-card interface, and the fact that I could take literally hundreds of...

I got this camera for free when I made another purchase. I have also purchase two other digital cameras. One is the tiney Mitsubishi DJ-1000 which I paid about $85 for and another. Of all three cameras, I like the coolpix the best. Even though the...

Image quality is grainy in low light and sunlight affects image ; Sometimes slow ; Limited to 21 or so pictures - no memory expansion

Nikon Coolpix 100 : Old but is it still coolpix

The Nikon Coolpix 100 was released way back when in 1997 when digital photography was still pretty much in it's adolescence. It's so old that it's now a discontinued line but in it's day it really was something pretty special. With a maximum resolution...
