Nikon Coolpix P80

This lightweight digicam has a powerful 18X zoom and can take 30 consecutive shots.

Powerful 18X zoom ; Sports Continuous mode captures fast-moving subjects ; Strong overall image quality ; Lots of manual options ; Lightweight

Nikon Coolpix P80 Review

The Coolpix P80 is an excellent first attempt at a super-zoom camera by Nikon, but it's ultimately let down by image quality that is worse than some of its main rivals. Nikon have worked hard to ensure that the P80 is competing on a level playing...

Nikon Coolpix P80 Digital Camera - First Shots - The Imaging Resource!

Coupled to this lens, the Nikon P80 features a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1/2.33" CCD image sensor with 10.1 effective megapixel resolution - plenty for cropping while still leaving enough resolution for a good-sized print. If you feel limited by 4:3...

Nikon Coolpix P80 Review

The Nikon Coolpix P80 establishes itself as a basically sound ultrazoom - if not the runaway champion in its class that we'd initially hoped for.

Camera size and weight are excellent - the P80 will fit (carefully) into a pants pocket, then come out and give the user a 27 to 486mm focal range. That range and the decent shutter response, good image quality and ability to customize camera settings...

Nikon Coolpix P80 Review at ePhotozine

Nikon are really coming up trumps with processor capability. The landscape image has good definition all-round with nice detail in the grass. No fringing is evident on the white steps or on the roof of the building, which I'm really impressed with.
