Nikon Coolpix S3300Digital Camera Review

Nikon's S3300 is an affordable alternative to the rest of the company's extensive Coolpix lineup. Debuting in February of this year as a replacement for the S3100, the S3300 has received upgrades to optical zoom, megapixel count, and image...

The Coolpix S3300 isn’t a great camera, even for only $140. The cheap lens produces some of the most distracting chromatic aberration we’ve seen, and overall resolution is poor as a result. Shot to shot speed is also quite slow, ruling out action or...

Nikon S3300

Affordable compact with some deal-breaking drawbacks.

Accurate colors; Dead-on white balance

Poor resolution; Severe chromatic aberration

Not a horrible camera

Lousy customer service from Nikon on what I thought was a pretty decent point and shoot camera. 1 year and 1 week and it died, it was 1 week out of warranty and they would not even discuss a replacement...

Small and compact, 16 megapixels

For 16 mp sometimes the pictures were very blurry and other times quite clear, don't know why either. The big con is how long this camera lasted. Bought it on 4/30/12 and it died the 1st week of May 2013. Guess what the warranty is? Yep 1 year! Nikon...

Gift hit

Bought as a gift for a husband who has problems with cameras and taking photos. Ran him through the features and he picked them up the first time. Has been using in his business and at the race track taking photos with the different settings. Easy to...

Great Snapshot Camera

This camera takes great quality pics and is easy to use. Small enough for pocket or purse. This is a great value.

Good camera for beginners

Bought for my mother who is technology challenged and she figured it out in a couple days. The pictures she has been sending are great.

Good basic camera

Bought as gift for a non-digital basic wet film person. She loves this camera. She wanted an uncomplicated small camera for her purse. Slim, light weight and relatively small. Point and shoot. Instant hit with no issues. So far so good.
