Not 100%

I bought this camera after looking at many and just not finding a good zoom without the bulk or very large price tag. I would say I'm pretty frequent at photography have done some jobs in photography also. Not professional though. I was just looking for a camera to grab for convenience for sports and travel. Sometimes from the bleachers it's hard to get close shots. Although sports season is over I have played around for a few weeks now. I didn't try panorama til reading reviews and it really is not good! Blocks off 1/4 of each pic. We went laser tagging and in the arcade was dark light and pics came out very fuzzy. Don't like the fact you can't zoom on rec mode which stinks for sports seeing as they don't stand still!!!

And on they come! Compact maxi zoom digicams.

This one has an 18x optical zoom, equating to a 28-504mm lens as 35 SLR equivalent, As I've said before, try to fit out a DSLR with an 18x zoom and you hit a brick wall!

Good zoom, good optics, good price, but slow

Not a bad camera overall, especially since it has come down so much in price lately. I only paid $179 for it, so I really cannot complain. That being said... It's SLOW... which is why I wanted a new camera in the first place. My nine-year-old C-5050...

Zoom is great, second only to a camcorder in most cases. Pictures are sharp and clear if you use a flash

Not so great in low-light conditions. It seems to confuse the camera, which then slows the shutter speed and if your heart beats at all it makes even a still life image blurry
