A camera with the word “Tough” in the name really has two ways it should be judged. First, as a camera — its image quality, features, and how it stacks up against other similarly priced point-and-shoots. [...]

If you have an action-packed lifestyle, or want one, the Olympus Tough TG-610 is your ticket. Capture memories in 3D or 2D image stills and record HD video without worrying about the temperature or your location above or below water (up to 16 feet)....

This camera can function under extreme weather conditions

It can’t record 3D videos and it records normal videos at only 720p

This camera, while for sure one of the toughest, isn’t the best in terms of quality video or features.

Great product I wanted this to take photos of my daughter growing up at the beach and swimming with camera you don't need to worry about water or if your kid gets a hold of it

I have yet to try and take photos under water but I am someone who loves to go to the beach and snap away while the kids are playing and splashing around so the water proof feature is what sold it for me. And, well, I am also clumsy so the shock...
