I have another Panasonic Lumix, but it is a larger camera, I believe the hybrid model. I wanted something small for vacation. Upon opening, it never worked. Charged, but had a lens error, which was funny because I bought this kind hoping to avoid that...

Be careful with this camera. I had one and dropped it for the first time and it broke! After searching online for what to do or to see if this had happened to others I found out it had happened to many other owners and I would have to get it...

This is a very cool camera! Highly recommended this for family or friends. Even comes in HD. There is some trail and error with lighting and flash and what not to get the perfect picture but hey its an awesome camera . buy it!

took couple of pictures the quality & clarity is not that great specialy the colors..i thought the description will match with the outcome.i\'m really disappointed.

So far I like it, but need more experience with ie..photos are sharp and the completely auto feature is very good except in low light conditions where I see the camera shake warning and have to go to a more manual mode...but as I said I need more time...

I was looking for a high quality, yet smaller camera for shooting a variety of subjects at a reasonable price. I looked at several camera, probably the same ones you have, read the reviews trying to separate the bad from the good.
