Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 (silver)

Depending on how you use your photos, you'll either be thrilled or disappointed with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15. For its sub-$180 price, you get a nice-looking ultracompact with plenty of automatic shooting options and a couple of noteworthy features...

Very good design, features for its price; dedicated Intelligent Auto button; wide-angle 5x zoom lens.

Mixed photo quality, performance.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 is a well-appointed snapshot camera for the money with the mixed performance and photo quality typical of its class.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15

Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FS15 is a very good mid-priced point-and-shoot camera that's particularly strong at taking close-ups. The unit's small, relatively thin, and light enough to carry in a shirt pocket, but it's loaded with features including a 12...

12-megapixel image sensor; wide-angle lens; easy-to-read LCD; great picture quality

Limited manual adjustments; no HD video; objectionable noise at ISO 1600 and higher

You don't need to know anything about photography to take excellent pictures with this camera.

The lens is image stabilized and at its widest focal length is the equivalent of 29mm. It comes with face detection (which is the mode of 2009 by the looks of things), 11 point auto focusing, ISO range of 100 to 6400, four flash modes and 50 megabytes...

very weak camera, with more difficult controls than older versions.

after 5-6 months of use or around 200 shots, broke by producing distorted images in blue color

Great camera, great price, easy to use.

Light ,compact, and easy to use. I'm not into all the gimics that some brands advertize. Just point and shoot.

Light and easy to use. And enough features to keep the techno geeks happy

A little small for my big hands but thats were digital cameras have evolved to

Very compact P&S camera with excellent picture quality

I saw the camera on sale at Costco and decided to try it. I found that I really liked how compact it is. It is so easy to use, you just pull out the camera and it starts up instantly than you can take a great picture. I really like ... Expand full review

The camera is very light and easy to use. I have found that the picture quality rivals my wife's Sony DSC-W290. I like the button layout. I have not tried the video feature. Great price

Limited controls and stabilization at greater focal length but that's probably just me

"I feel dumb, after Ibought this camera"

I feel dumb because I searched over the net for the best camera for my budget and decided for this one because of the reviews. I'm glad it is from Costco because it's going back today. I took a picture of my truck this morning in the garage and it...
