Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH5Digital Camera Review

Another year, another big batch of pocket-sized point-and-shoots. Panasonic's FH series is perhaps best known for last year's FH20, one of the first sub-$200 cameras with an 8x zoom range. That line is also home to a handful of less-interesting,...

Based on its performance scores, the Panasonic FH5 is an average point-and-shoot. Colors are accurate, noise is well controlled, and resolution is acceptable. It’s nothing special, but as a cheap, easy camera built for the most casual of photographers,...

Unremarkable, but not bad, performance, but with nothing to really recommend it

Affordable entry-level camera; Accurate color performance

No distinguishing qualities; Cheap design

Panasonic LUMIX DMC- FH5V Digital Camera

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

Nice point and shoot

Only a few nitpicking flaws, otherwise a fantastic camera for a good price, you will not be disappointed.

Nice pictures, had a lot of various shoot choices, 16 megapixels wow ; Tiny, good for pocket, but buy a case for it asap ; Has a little memory enough for 10-11 full size shots, for those who haven't purchased the sd card (dirt cheap right now) ; Very nice

A few flaws, first..record play switch, should have been put on top of camera instead ; Also, software only in Windows no Mac version but you really don't need it, Iphoto covers everything ; Not a camera for big hands ; Screen gets prints on it easily

Great camera for the price

I bought this camera mainly for family events and my sons soccer games. The sports setting is just wonderful. It takes action pictures with very little blur. I have only played with about 1/3 of the settings but so far I have had very little issue. You...

Not right for me...

Needed a new camera, my old one (also a lumix) was only 7 megapixels, this seemed like a great deal especially since it was on sale. Saw that it was only 4x optical zoom and thought that would be enough... it definitely wasn't. If you're only taking up...
