Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 (Blue)

Editors' note: Almost all of the design, features, and shooting options--including the camera's imaging sensor, processor, and lens--are identical between the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 and the Lumix DMC-FH27 we reviewed earlier. The only difference...

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 is a straightforward point-and-shoot with a flexible lens with good performance and photo quality for its class.

Its 16-megapixel resolution is a bit of a waste and you can't use the optical zoom while recording movies.

Simple and satisfying, Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FH25 is an excellent point-and-shoot value.

Budget digital camera with longer zoom

With an impressive zoom for such a tiny, inexpensive camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 is a favorite budget pick of both photography experts and everyday camera owners who post their own reviews. The 8x optical zoom is twice as long as that of the...

Long 8x zoom for its class, photo quality in bright light, shoots 720p HD video, quick performance for a budget camera, effective hand-shake stabilizer, good battery life

Mixed reviews for dim-light photos, feeble flash, no optical zoom in video mode, some settings buried deep within menus, 2.7-inch LCD screen smaller than competitors

"The Clearest Pictures of Any of My Digital Cameras!"

-the sharpest pictures, brillant and super-natural colours!

-none so far, replaced an older thicker model...so glad i did

"Excellent point and shoot camera."

Bought this at around $120, on Amazon, for my wife to use on our Carribean cruise - definitely no the place for poor photos! We were extremely pleased with all the pictures. This is a great little camera, imo.

Sharp, crisp photos. Accurate color rendition. Image stabilization is good. Intuitive controls. Fast saving of photos to SD memory card. The battery life is very good. The fold-out prongs on the supplied charger means no cord. Quality Leica lens. 8x!

Could use a viewfinder, but few cameras in this price range have one. Video quality could be better, but again, probably not in this price range.

Grate pics, bad vids

although the video quality is poor, its a still good buy for the price if u need photo camera overall i would give it 3 solid eggs for pictures 1 solid egg for price but no eggs for video department

very nice pictures ; the image stablizer is very good when ur in crowd or moving and it takes amazingly sharp pictures using it ; has alot of scenary presettings which are useful

if ur looking for a camera that records 720p STAY AWAY ; although it promisses the HD quality videos, it delivers nothing better than 480 ; the zoom in, zoom out function doesnt work when using video mode, do homeword b4 ur purchase

Nice little pocket camera

I've been a photo hobbyist for 40 years and the quality of digital cameras today is good enough I don't use my film cameras anymore.

For an automatic camera the contrast and color rendition is very good. I bought this as a "vacation camera" when I didn't want to haul around my bigger Canon. I haven't had any malfunctions with this camera. Stabilization works well and that's...

Flash range is small of course. Have to remember to charge the battery, (my other cameras use disposable AA's in a pinch)

Consumer review by:

High quality, fast, small

Very high quality, fast focus, good zoom. Two cons: 1. can't change zoom while taking a video. 2. older shape/design. not as smooth and streamlined body as other brands. Warning: Still struggling with Staples "Easy?" Rebate. Followed all submission...

Easy to Use,Fast focusing,High quality photos

Older design shape
