Great Little camera. Excellent from the point of view of the construction, features, ease of use and portability. The IQ is quite excellent in sunlight and bright scenes, but from 800 ISO image is noisy. A good surprise the function "High sensitivity"....

No wideangle (28mm) ; ia mode (full automatic) quite useless

Cameras are very important to my family and when it comes to having the right camera, I have to have something that isn't going to leave me upset once I look at the prints. I want to get the results right in the camera and I want the same results in my...

My favorite feature is the HD video recording. When they say HD, they really meant that. All of the videos that I have taken are awesome. I have yet to have a problem with the recording. I do get an issue where sometimes the recording may pause on me...

Another great feature of this camera is the fact that it is possible to crop pictures from the actual camera, so it is easy to reframe pictures on the go which I appreciate.

Overall I would give this camera a 9 as it is worth more than what you pay, has an excellent zoom and quality, great motion adapter and I only have on con for it which will bring it down a point.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62R digital camera

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62R is a cheap, 10-megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera that captures surprisingly vibrant photos. It's easy for novices...

Good image stabilisation, Intelligent Auto mode takes pleasing photos

No manual controls, poor high ISO performance, low resolution scene modes

Novice photographers can just set the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62R to Intelligent Auto and fire away without worrying about changing settings. It's reasonably priced, too.

Can you really get a good compact camera for under £100?

Excellent value ; Very compact ; Metal construction ; Optical image stabilisation ; Decent image quality

Slightly small screen ; Basic video recording ; Slightly slow autofocus ; Mediocre flash

With the kind of build quality, performance and image quality usually associated with cameras costing twice the price, the Panasonic Lumix FS62 represents possibly the best value for money of any current compact camera. A genuine bargain.

When it comes to value for money this camera is very hard to beat. It is one of the cheapest pocket cameras you will find, but it does not suffer in terms of picture quality. I also like the look of the camera. All in all this is very impressive for...

Picture quality - simple design - value for money

Start up and shutter lag times could be a bit faster

In my view it is hard to beat the Panasonic Lumix DMC FS62 when it comes to value for money. There are very few compromises made to keep the price down and this camera outperforms many much more expensive cameras.
