Panasonic Lumix FZ70 / FZ72

The Panasonic Lumix FZ72, or FZ70 as it's known in North America, is a super-zoom camera with a 16.1 Megapixel compact sensor and a whopping 60x stabilised optical zoom. That's the longest zoom range currently available on a compact camera, so in a...

Massive 60x optical zoom ; Excellent Power O.I.S. stabilisation ; 20mm ultra-wide angle ; Raw mode ; 400 shot battery life ; 3 Programmable Fn buttons

Fixed LCD screen can't be flipped out ; No built-in GPS or Wifi ; Poor 3-frame burst shooting ; Stabilisation artifacts on movies at max zoom

The Panasonic Lumix FZ70 / FZ72 raises the bar once again for super-zooms with a massive 60x optical zoom. Panasonic has stuck with the same 24x zoom lens for several generations of its FZ range, so perhaps it's not surprising that they've leapfrogged...

Panasonic Lumix FZ60

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ60 is a feature-rich bridge camera. Take a few minutes to learn how you can use it to take beautiful images and stunning videos.

The Panasonic Lumix's POWER O.I.S. helps stabilize the camera when you record video, making them less blurry

The lens only has a 24x zoom, which is lower than many other bridge cameras on our lineup

With a variety of creative controls and manual controls, it's hard to ignore the power of the Panasonic Lumix FZ60.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62

Great Little camera. Excellent from the point of view of the construction, features, ease of use and portability. The IQ is quite excellent in sunlight and bright scenes, but from 800 ISO image is noisy. A good surprise the function "High sensitivity"....

No wideangle (28mm) ; ia mode (full automatic) quite useless

Great camera!

This camera gives us so many improvements in quality, useability and features over the point-and-shoot cameras we've owned (3) at a price that is astonishing. WE could not imagine being more thrilled with our purchase.

Too many features to mention, great picture quality, easy camera to use (especially once we read the manual and learn how to use more functions), light but fits the hands, absolutely love the viewfinder, terrific battery life

Too many features for my wife and I to learn and remember, manual makes assumptions about terms (i.e. "recording") without defining them

Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera

Cameras are very important to my family and when it comes to having the right camera, I have to have something that isn't going to leave me upset once I look at the prints. I want to get the results right in the camera and I want the same results in my...

My favorite feature is the HD video recording. When they say HD, they really meant that. All of the videos that I have taken are awesome. I have yet to have a problem with the recording. I do get an issue where sometimes the recording may pause on me...

build quality ; leica lens (one of the best in photo lenses ) ; 4x zoom ; 10.1 MP pixels ; optical image stalabisation (very good)

wished it had more manual controls of f stop and shutter speed but even though i am very pleased with the optios it offers

Another great feature of this camera is the fact that it is possible to crop pictures from the actual camera, so it is easy to reframe pictures on the go which I appreciate.

Overall I would give this camera a 9 as it is worth more than what you pay, has an excellent zoom and quality, great motion adapter and I only have on con for it which will bring it down a point.

Panasonic Lumix TZ60 review

The prospect of the Panasonic Lumix TZ60 (or ZS40 for our American readers) excited us when we first saw it because it's the latest in the line of what we would consider the very best of the all-round "travel zoom" compact cameras. And if you want...

30x optical zoom is small scale, excellent image stabilisation system, physical lens ring control, manual focus options, improved Wi-Fi for sharing images

No touchscreen, viewfinder isn't that useful due to size, autofocus falls below speed expectations to top-end of zoom, flash doesn't clear lens, fiddly Wi-Fi options
