Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX3

One of several new "FX" series Lumix cameras for 2006, the DMC-FX3 is a sleek and very pocketable 6-megapixel camera with a high-quality Leica 3x optical zoom that features Panasonic's MEGA Optical Image Stabilization, a feature that counters shaky...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX3 Digital Camera - Express Review

The Panasonic FX3 has a generous 2.5-inch LCD display but with a fairly average resolution of 115,000 pixels and, like a lot of digital cameras these days, no optical viewfinder. For those who like to shoot in low light without a flash, ISO light...

Stylish and solid compact design resembles higher-end cameras, MEGA O.I.S. optical image stabilizer helps steady shots, Speedy all-around performance with virtually no shutter lag when you pre-focus., High quality Leica-branded 3x lens, lower than...

Images shot at 1,600 are lower resolution and have excessive noise, can only be printed up to 4 x 6 at best., Below-average LCD resolution, Slow playback of full resolution images on LCD, Buttons and mode dial too small for average sized fingers,...

Speaking of scene modes, the Panasonic FX3 has 17 of them including the unique "Baby" modes that allow you to program a date of birth in each, and then have your images tagged with your children's current ages at the time the photo is taken. Other nice...

Panasonic Lumix FX3

The Panasonic Lumix FX3 is Panasonic's low cost ultra-compact camera designed for those who want a tiny camera priced much lower than those $300 - $500 compacts nowadays. Is this 6 megapixel Lumix worth it or should you go for those more expensive...

3X zoom lens with optical image stabilization ; Above average battery life ; Good LCD visibility ; Live histogram with exposure info (both in shooting and playback) ; Fast performance, including continuous shooting ; Nice movie mode ; Good image...

Low LCD resolution ; No manual controls ; Redeye, corner softness and color fringing ; No movie focus or zoom, editing

The FX3 is an affordable ultra-compact camera with optical image stabilization, good battery life and nice and snappy performance. The LCD may be low in resolution but it makes up for that with good visibility and display of an array of info.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX3K (black)

Pros-I got it at Circuit City Dec. 2 for $150. I has good video quality for a digital camera. Very good in low lighting. Not much of a delay between pictures. Has 6 megapixels, I think. And has a nice big LCD screen.

Very very good

None I can think of
