Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70 Digital Camera Review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70 is a point-and-shoot hybrid model put out with a MSRP of US $299.99, making it by far one of the lowest priced models in the Lumix series of digital cameras. With a 3x optical zoom, the Leica DC lens has a 1/2.5", 4.2 total...

- Nice solid weight, even with two double AA batteries - Great port covers, and nice consideration regarding button size and Mode Dial construction - A fairly uncomplicated camera, even when using partial manual features; easily navigation within the...

- Slippery grip impeded appropriate holding of camera body - The shape of the camera makes it harder to transport comfortably - Awkward microphone placement, and a lack of any sort of playback speaker - Size forced my large hands to wander the...

With an MSRP of US $299.95, a 3x optical zoom, and 4.0 total MP CCD, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70 has a comfortable weight and easy transportability. It is a basic camera with few added features, and is mostly intended for those users who don't want...

Compact. Fast boot time, speedy zoom. Welcome options for beginners.

Some icons are confusing. No aperture or shutter priority modes, no manual mode.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70

The Lumix DMC-LC70 is a compact and lightweight 4-megapixel camera that features a high quality Leica DC-VARIO ELMARIT all-glass aspherical 3x optical zoom lens. It's the "big brother" to the 3-megapixel DMC-LC50 which is physically identical with a silve

Bottom line - The Lumix DMC-LC70 makes a good choice for anyone who wants a portable, easy to use digicam. Its size allows it to be carried in almost any size pocket or purse, and with its 4.0 million pixels of resolution, you can create photo-quality pri

I enjoy taking vacation and family pictures and had a Canon S20, which was big and solid but 3 mp and I came across this camera as a great deal. I tried it and enjoy it. It is well made, although made of plastic. Aside from feeling cheap casewise, the...

Quality of case, and setting wheel easily moved to wrong setting accidently. Flash is a little too bright so I often back off the exposure slightly

This is my third Panasonic camera and I bought it primarily as a back-up. But, when a cable came loose in my FZ-20, I was sure glad I had it. It really is designed as a simple point-and-shoot. In this area, it excels. There are really no manual...

Originally I was interested in LC43 then had my hand off because of the talkabout of noise of LC43 at ISO400 while LC70 was announced. I read the technical materials about LC70 and decided to go for LC70. I love the size as well as the grip(particular...

1. The manu is not the best for your convenience to enter or exit, still old school type ; 2. With vacant top available, I regret that Panasonic did not add a hotshoe on top of the LC70 (the hotshoe is becoming popular for most digital cameras that are...

You cant go wrong for purchasing a camera with these features without going out and spending a big buck.

Very easy camera to understand and operate the video is awesome for a camera since you have no need to carry a camcorder around when you have a 256mb card or higher with you

Fighting over who gets to take the images be it still or video
