Lumix DMC-ZS15

on this site back in February. Normally I don't review a pair of cameras that are this similar, but since there's a lot of interest in the ZS15, I'm doing both

Very good photo quality ; Packs a high quality 16X (24 - 384 mm) zoom lens into a small package ; Power OIS" image stabilization, with "active" mode for movies ; 3-inch LCD offers good outdoor/low light visibility ; Good selection of manual controls ;...

Occasional highlight clipping ; Redeye a problem; no removal tool in playback mode ; Photos taken in artificial light tend to have a yellow/brown color cast ; LCD seems a bit blurry (on my camera, at least) ; No RAW, manual focus, or WB bracketing...

While it doesn't have the most Megapixels, zoom power, or features, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15 is still a very good compact ultra zoom camera. It offers a nice zoom lens in a compact body, along with robust performance, very good photo quality, tons...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15 Video Review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15 ($280) compact Mega Zoom is the company's second-in-command to the venerable Lumix DMC-ZS20. While the new ZS20 benefits from GPS, a longer 20x optical zoom lens and 60P HD video, the Lumix DMC-ZS15 shares the same sensor...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15 offers some great features, like a 16X optical zoom and facial recognition. The low resolution limits the camera to online sharing. Because the design is so weak, you'll want to be extra careful when storing this camera.

The 16X zoom gives you detail on even distant objects

The camera is flimsy and can break easily, even in a protective case

If you're a world traveler and want to post your pictures online, the Lumix DMC-ZS15 will give you detail that no other beginner camera can.

Makes up for all of Panasonic's previous pocket super-zoom evils, but will it continue?

There's no shortage of reviews on this product, including a very useful professional one on DP Review, so I'll use this space to focus on the the differences between the Lumix sz-3, which was our previous pocket super-zoom, and this one. Our previous...

Great travel camera

This camera is fast, takes good pictures and is versatile enough to be the only camera you need while travelling. The zoom is excellent and the menus are relatively easy to navigate. Takes reasonable movies too. I leave the SLR at home now when I travel.

Panasonic Lumix ZS15

Bought this camera for my wife to replace one she left in a resturant. She LOVES it! Seems to take excellent photos, easy to use. She hasn't tried the movie feature yet. Price was less than the Canon ELPH it replaced.

I tried to hate it...but I can't.

Bought this cam on a whim since I needed something small. I have a d90 and an LX5 ( that my wife uses) and did some comparing with these. Now the low light capability is the only thing I am not happy with the zs15 after testing several shots upon...

Pictures multiply like rabbits in downloads

I need a study course on this camera. Depending on the 'Scene' mode one pictures results in up to four pictures when downloaded. You need to delete 3 from you computer and it is difficult to select which ones to delete. I could not find a way to stitch...
