Pentax Optio 430RS review: Pentax Optio 430RS

Pentax Optio 430RS

Interesting features; ultracompact design; good color accuracy; no shutter delay.

No aperture- or shutter-priority modes; slightly soft images.

The little Optio 430RS supplies enough functional and fun features to keep amateurs busy but won't intimidate beginners.

Pentax Optio 430RS Camera Review - PCWorld

The Optio 430RS is a nice pack-along camera--small enough to take anywhere, but with enough pixel power for making large, sharp prints.

Practically a carbon copy of the preceding Pentax Optio 430, the 430 RS is about the same size as a deck of playing cards, and definitely one of the more portable digicams on the market (similar to the larger members of the Canon ELPH series). At 3.6 x...

Optio 430RS - A lightweight champion

The Optio 430RS is a super contender in the middle-priced segment of the digital photography scene. I purchased this from a retailer for Christmas and have used it extensively since then. I have taken movies, which it shoots with excellent quality in...

Pentax Optio 430RS

There are several motives for buying a digital camera;

Small size, appears sturdy, reasonably fast shot to shot, good lens

Pictures not as sharp as other 4MP cameras, no video out, No sound.
