The Optio E70 is good for beginning photographers who don't want to bother to learn the nuances of exposure, framing, and lighting.

Really, for the price, it's a wonderful camera, and worth the investment.

Camera is very easy to use. Takes very high quality photos, and really works a treat. On/off button is easy to use, no hassle with powering the unit. Each of the shoot modes seem to work wonderfully. Panaromas are very simple to make, and a lot of fun too...

Face recognition can be a bit of an annoyance, no problem, just turn it off
