The Ricoh Caplio G4 Wide is a 3.24-megapixel, 3x optical zoom digital camera that looks like it has everything the average digital camera user would want. It won't set the world on fire, but it will satisfy those wanting to begin digital photography...

The G4 weighs 165g excluding the x2 AA batteries, memory card and hand strap. Its dimensions are W x 112.9mm H x 57.5mm D x 36.4mm when the 3x zoom lens is retracted

Ricoh Caplio G4: A very handy & durable camera

I bought the Ricoh G4 Wide model over the G4 (this model was launched in the late 2003). Main difference is the G4 Wide's focal length is 28 to 85mm while the G4 is 35 to 105mm. I prefer a wider angle to start with. The G4 models are considered very...

Definitely an excellent purchase!!

Firstly, I must Point out that I am not technically minded whatsoever, in fact, the only figures I know about the Ricoh Caplio G4 are that it is 3.2 mega pixels and is has a shutter speed of 0.14 seconds (which, if Iâ€™m honest, I donâ€™t really know...

Excellent handbag size camera. It does exactly what it says on the tin.Picture quality excellent and really fast shutter speed. With a 256 mb sdcard I can get 160 shots on best quality.The only down side is it eatsAA batteries. I use rechargeable batts...
