Can Ricoh's G600 possibly be as rugged as it looks?

Shockproof and freezeproof ; Good zoom and wide-angle lens ; Great controls ; Excellent battery life

Only waterproof to 1m ; Expensive

It's good in many ways, but lack of depth in the waterproofing and a high price mar it overall

Though the G600 might be better suited for on-the-job shooting than a life on the snow slopes, it's still not a bad camera.
