Ricoh RDC-6000

Compact and stylish, Ricoh's newest model has a bargain price for a 2.1-megapixel digital camera.

Consider this model if you are looking for an inexpensive 2.1-megapixel camera and you're not too finicky about image quality.

Ricoh RDC-6000

The Ricoh RDC-6000 "Image Capturing Device" is a very affordable (under $400) and compact 2-megapixel dual-mode digital camera. It captures still images but can also be used as a web-cam on the Internet using it's USB connectivity. In addition it captures

Ricoh RDC-6000 Digital Camera Review: Intro and Highlights

In recent years, Ricoh has made a strong showing in the high-resolution prosumer digicam market, with its last four introductions -- the RDC-7, RDC-5300, RDC-5000, and the RDC-6000 -- all sporting 2-megapixel chips or higher. The RDC-7, introduced...

A good camera overall but needs a gentle touch... The Ricoh RDC-6000 was my first digital camera, and overall it's been a good experience. As you can see below I've had a fair number of problems with this camera, but all in all I think it's quite...

Returned the first one after the dial stopped working properly (the camera would randomly change to the settings area and it became impossible to choose camera mode.....). Ricoh replaced it no questions asked ; Terrible in low light conditions...

Owners Opinion: Ricoh RDC-6000 (karlisv, 7 Apr 03)

It was good as my first digirtal camera, but later i found that image quality was bad when compared to images made by other cameras. No I have Fujifilm M603 - it's like day against night when compare to RDC-6000. I'm very satisfied with my M603

unsharp images (I think because of low-quality lens), slow shutter, weak movie mode, low sensitivity (very bad when light is low)

A great first digital camera, run over 12,000 photos with this camera, problems between light and dark areas of the subject matter, dark is very dark. A good overall package for the money.

Camera changing from photo setting to overall setting by itself ; When used with the external power supply there was excessive static build up on the camera case ; The cammera is not consistent with photos and cannot handle indoor photos

Great for a beginner's digital camera user. Takes great outdoor pictures in natural light. Tends to produce pictures that appears to be dark indoors. Love the video function.

Battery life is short
