I was looking for an inexpensive 2nd digital camera. Pay a bit more and get the Canon A60 (feature rich).

Eats batteries ; No lens protection when camera is off ; I returned it

The camera is relatively easy to use and images are relatively clear. There is however significant parralex on the extremes of the photo. Examples of photos I have taken can be seen at /. It should be noted that these photos have been resized and...

On some photos in dull lighting conditions, the top left of images is darker than the rest of the image (looks like a shadow). The lens cover is fully retracted and do not know what causes it. No much of a problem as is only the extreme corner of the...

Easy to download images. Easy connection to PC and TV. Slower than normal camera (expected). Got faster speed by using ISO 400 with no real quality loss. Batteries and charger is a bonus and lasts quite long.

Cannot save ISO and flash settings (real pain)

Redeye should be a option not default, since MGI Photosuite provides redeye removal anyway. Samsung could the camera rom/firmware be changed to alter the flash default. Let us know as this spoils a good camera ; 1 nov 02, received a replacement camera...

I bought this camera for £135+VAT and was pleasantly surprised by the results obtained. I chose this camera because of: a) excellent reviews posted on other sites b) the price c) I wanted to get into the digital revolution without breaking the bank ...

The only things that niggles me are the flash settings - which automatically goes to the red-eye setting when you turn the camera on despite having been turned off at the previous photo session and I haven't quite got used to the delay between pressing...
