Like all ultra-compact cameras, the NV3's batteries are expensive ($40), and you can't use an off-the-shelf battery when it runs out of juice. Since the NV3's battery life isn't the greatest, it's probably a good idea to buy a spare

Clear pictures in daylight
Terrible quality in low light or inside. Shots come out blurry and flash picks up tons of dust particles leaving "white orbs" ruining about 50% of any photos taken indoor with a flash. Speakers often confused for shutter release button.

I will never spend a single penny on a Samsun...
Good pictures if you can afford to buy a new camera every 10 months.
The camera ceased to work after 10 months of normal use. Called samsung to report the problem and was ordered to send it back for repair. The camera was returned unrepaired with explanation telling me that product has corrosion. Warranty does cover.
