Very affordable price point, - Comfortable form factor and size, - Image stabilization is incredibly fluid, - Video quality is decent, - 34x optical zoom

Good SD camcorder.

 

Built to last ; GREAT 34x optical zoom

Special AVI format only works with some editors. Very annoying, needs to be converted before use ; Aspect ratio is not 4:3 OR 16:9. It's a made up one. Needs to be cropped or stretched before use

Major Problem with aspect ratio

 

This unit specifies 3x4 video format. It puts out a 720x480 which is not 3.4. When videos are viewed on a computer, the images are distorted. Circles look like ovals and people look too fat. These are not even 'true' 720x480 or the images would just be...

Not worth the money

 

I liked the fact that it is small and very easy to use but low light noise and the fact that you need the included software to view the video makes it a thumbs down. Spend a bit more money for a quality product.
