Samsung WB250F Review

Samsung's WB250F point-n-shoot camera is a lot of fun to use and provides a pretty good value. Even though this camera has some performance issues and there's a bit of image softness at large sizes, it still stacks up very nicely against other models...

18x optical zoom is a great option in a thin camera ; Touch screen LCD is nice option for beginners ; LCD screen is very bright and sharp ; Lens fully retracts inside the camera, protecting the glass ; Menu structure is smartly organized and is very...

Must charge battery inside the camera, because no separate battery charger included ; Camera has some shutter lag problems ; Start-up is a little slow ; Image quality has some slight softness ; Some images seem to almost be over-processed, giving them...

Samsung WB250F

The Samsung WB250F has a long 18x zoom lens and a top-notch Wi-Fi implementation, but image quality isn't the best we've seen in its class.

Excellent Wi-Fi implementation. Touch-screen display. 18x zoom. 24mm wide-angle. Sharp 1080p30 video capture

Images lack detail at high ISOs. Burst shooting limited to 6 frames

The Samsung WB250F ($249.99 direct) is a compact camera with a long 18x zoom lens, built-in Wi-Fi, a 14-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and a responsive touch screen. It doesn't skimp on the physical controls, so you don't have to navigate by touch, and...

Samsung WB250F Smart Camera (White)

Samsung is far out in front of its competition when it comes to Wi-Fi implementation in cameras, and it is models like the WB250F Smart Camera that prove it.

The Samsung WB250F Smart Camera has excellent wireless features and an abundance of shooting options for all types of shooters. It has a handy pop-up flash and very good photo and video quality for its price and features.

Button placement on top of the camera could be better, and accessing some of the setting menus isn't always straightforward.

For those who want more camera than their smartphone offers without sacrificing the easy sharing, the Samsung WB250F Smart Camera is a good, affordable choice.

Samsung WB250F Review: Kid Friendly Camera

Samsung has spent the last few years revitalizing their imaging product line. Most recently their additions include the NX300, EX2F, NX20, and the subject of this review, the WB250F. With these new cameras, Samsung is further cementing their reputation...

Compact body design, yet still very ergonomic ; Fun feature set of creative photo effects ; Advanced Wi-Fi functionality

Zoom lags ; Wi-Fi on phone is not in use while downloading images from camera ; Body of camera does not feel durable

The WB250F is a nice option for those casual photographers on a budget. With a retail price of about $250, this camera offers plenty of features -- especially Wi-Fi. That being said, discerning point and shoot photographers will want to look for...

Samsung WB250F Review

The Samsung WB250F has an 18x zoom which begins on a usefully wide 24mm 35 SLR equivalent focal length and reaches out to a 35 SLR equivalent of 432mm.

"REALLY LIKE THIS CAMERA."

I found the wi-fi function easy to set up and it reconnected to the home network automatically after entering the password the first time. This is a nice, easy to use camera with a very good optical lens and basic networking functionality that allows...

Uou can use the touch screen or buttons. It remembers e-mail addresses recently used. You can send multiple pictures at a time. The optical lens takes exceptionally clear pictures when zoomed, far superior to my iPhone 5 pics.

While the basic features are very intuitive, the advanced ones are not. I lost the manual so need to download a new one to figure out some of the more advanced functionality.

"Do not buy this camera"

I see this "flagship" camera receives many stars by reviewers who have not used it outside of tech shows. I've yet to see anyone review this camera after using it, so I'm happy to do so.

design, look, feel, touch screen

Terrible wi-fi and poor app options.

Great camera, Easy to use

I love the camera and like that I can crop the pics immediately. The video camera does not have a pause button so you have to stop the video and then start recording a new video. It was easy to transfer the photos and videos to my computer. Nice little...
