Sony DSC-T1

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 takes the same features found on full-sized digital cameras and squeezes them into a slim, stylish and durable metal body no larger than a deck of cards. The slim design of the T1 is attributed to a new Carl Zeiss...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 Digital Camera Review

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 is a quintessential point-and-shoot camera, intended for a higher-end audience that wants both strong digital still and video imaging and performance, combined with a sleek and slender design. This camera has an impressive...

- Slender, concise, and compact design makes it great for a night out on the town -Large 2.5-inch LCD, and well placed buttons -Able to capture full frame video (640 x 480) at 30 frames per second, making it a completely hybrid camera

-The bar that spans the front of the camera as a lens/flash/etc. cover is irritating. Perhaps I am dull-witted, but it took me five minutes just to learn how to open it -A pointless microphone on the top of the camera makes audio nearly impossible ...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1, with its impressive LCD, 5.1 MP CCD, 30 fps video capture, and overall size and design, is a great option for a user seeking a higher-end, well designed, and good looking point-and-shoot camera that won't hold them down with...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1

This slim 5-megapixel has a striking 2.5-inch LCD.

The Cyber-shot DSC-T1 packs a lot of functionality into its tiny case, and the 2.5-inch LCD will give other digital camera owners display envy. The photos aren't bad, either.

Sony DSC-T1 5.0mp Digital Camera Camera

Sony's 5-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-T1 is an engineering marvel. About the size of a deck of cards, it has rounded edges that encourage it to slide smoothly into your pocket or purse. The 3X zoom lens is mounted completely inside the camera--so when you...

The DSC-T1 comes with a cradle for charging its lithium-ion battery and for downloading your images from its Memory Stick media. The cradle requires a separate power adapter that might prove cumbersome for travel. Though you can't download photos...

Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T1

Very thin and highly portable; excellent video specs; fast performance; long battery life; included USB 2.0 cradle.

Extremely weak flash; no tripod mount; no custom white balance; poorly labeled menus.

This sleek and very thin Sony is good for on-the-go snapshots, but its photo quality is just OK.

Very good photo quality for an ultra-compact ; Stunning design; ultra-thin body packs 3X zoom lens ; Super-fast performance ; Huge 2.5" LCD display ; VGA, 30 fps movie mode ; Optional underwater case ; USB 2.0 high speed support ; AF-assist lamp ;...

Expensive ; Yet another memory card format to invest in ; Images often have fuzzy, "video capture look ; Redeye; weak flash ; No manual controls -- not even white balance ; LCD nearly impossible to see in low light ; No optical viewfinder ; No tripod...

All things considered, though, the DSC-T1 is a heck of a gadget. Its ultra-compact, stylish, go-anywhere body will make you the envy of your friends. It's not perfect, but the DSC-T1 is a pretty cool toy -- just bring your Visa card, as it's an...

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1: Digital Camera with Big Resolution, Small Dimensions

Used to be that buying a small digital camera meant big compromises on quality. The Sony DSC-T1 puts that notion to rest with a pocket-sized digital camera that packs 5-megapixel resolution and a 3x zoom lens into a tiny package.

If you drop the video to its lowest quality (160-x-120 pixel) you can fit a couple of hours onto a 512mb card. Because this mode still records full-quality audio, the T1 can serve as a very capable voice recorder

Product Specifications

The high-end camera that fits in your back pocket. Sony's DSC-T1 features a huge 5.1 Megapixel resolution, 3X Optical Zoom, and a 2.5" Hybrid LCD Monitor, all in a package the size of a credit card.
