Sony DSC-T200

Sony's new T-series cameras feature high-definition output so you can bring your photos to the party and take full advantage of the HD equipment already in your home. Once you have viewed photos in the utmost clarity, color and detail on an HDTV set,...

Shooting in low light doesn't have to result in blurry, grainy photos. Sony's Super Steady Shot® optical image stabilization counters camera shake and stabilizes images so you can easily shoot with longer exposure times. Armed with high light...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 (Silver)

When I first heard that the T200 would use a touch screen rather than the T100's conventional button controls, I'll admit I was concerned. Sony's previous attempts to put touch screens in cameras, namely the DSC-T50 , the DSC-N1 , and the DSC-N2 , met...

Fast performance; Smile Shutter and touch-based focus are quirky but useful features; touch-screen interface much improved over previous cameras.

Too reliant on the touch screen; poor picture quality compared with the T100's; tiny zoom rocker.

Though still a solid camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200's touch-sensitive LCD and lower image quality present a step back from its excellent predecessor.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T200

With slim vertical styling and an enormous 3.5'' widescreen touch-panel LCD that fills the camera back, the deep red DSC-T200 captures your attention before it even takes a shot. Boasting incredible 8.1 megapixel imaging and special features like Face...

Sony's Cyber-shot T200 gets its first review

You may remember Sony's new Cyber-shot T200 from way back at IFA, where we had the great and terrible pleasure of getting our grubby mitts all over it. Well, CNET Asia has gotten their mitts on the device for a thorough review, and we thought we'd ...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200

Hope that helps a little

5X zoom lens in a compact, stylish metal body ; Optical image stabilization ; Good image quality (by ultra-compact standards) ; Enormous 3.5" touchscreen LCD display; great outdoor visibility (at bright setting) ; Snappy focusing speeds, though...

Some blown highlights, blurry corners, and vignetting in photos; moderate barrel distortion ; Noise reduction smudges details, mottles sky at low ISOs; unimpressive high ISO image quality ; Redeye a big problem (but at least you can fix it) ; Design...

As you probably noticed, I'm not a huge fan of the DSC-T200's design, ergonomics, and menu system, and you might not be either -- so you really should try the camera before you drop $400 on it. If those issues don't bother you, then you'll enjoy what...

DSC-T200: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 Review

Several months ago when I purchased the Nokia E90 it was the second time I had VGA recording capabilities on a mobile phone. The first VGA recording device I was blessed with was the Nokia N95. At the time I was very impressed by being able to record...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 Review

If you've heard anything about the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200, you've almost certainly heard about its 3.5-inch touch screen interface.

Superb shooting speed ; Cool touch screen interface ; Smart auto modes ; Lots of unique features

Menus are clunky ; Not great image detail ; Ugly high-ISO photos ; Flash unit barely acceptable

Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital Camera Review

The Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 has a 3.5 inch touch sensitive LCD (0.5 more than DSC-T70), a feature that not many cameras have yet. This is the reason why you can't notice any buttons on the back. Slim and lightweight as Sony T-series was before,...

"It's black Sony carrying case falls off your belt.."

I do not like Sony anymore because they designed the carrying case so it will fall off your belt. I think a company like Sony should take more thought into ripping there customers off.

Sleak design, touch screen

No stereo sound. Hard to get a good picture. The black case that snaps on your belt is a con to lose the camera. It falls off easy. Sony just designed it that way. The lucky guy who finds it will rush to buy a charger etc. I will buy another cam

"great photos... stubby thumbs can get in the way!"

takes amazing photos when all settings are correct... sometimes not easy if doing quick shots. HUGE screen(both pro and con)!

No auto rotate when displaying photos. my boyfriend's stubby thumbs hit the screen changing menu options by accident, etc. When u pass the camera off to someone to show the photos, they will also hit the touch screen and change the picture as well
