Sony Cyber-shot T900 (black)

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is immediately impressive. A 12-megapixel camera with a stabilized 4x internal zoom lens, 3.5-inch touch-screen display with a resolution four times that of a typical camera LCD, and few physical controls in a body that's...

Fast performance; excellent design, LCD; optical zoom works in movie mode.

Short battery life; photo quality merely OK for the money; touch-screen not for everyone.

Though some will be disappointed by its photo quality, the barely there, high-tech Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is a very good ultracompact camera.

Cyber-shot DSC-T900

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900, priced at $379.99 captures 12-megapixel images and HD video. However, photos tended to be noisy, and the small lens produced major distortion and chromatic aberration problems.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is a gorgeous camera with some strong points, but also a number of glaring flaws. The camera's most obvious strength is its size and design. At only 2/3 of an inch thick, and with a sleek sliding cover, it's very easy on...

So you want to be a super model? Eat only lettuce, workout daily, and visit the plastic surgeon regularly. If your goal is to be a super model digicam, slim yourself down to practically nothing, add some bling, a dash of cool technology, and you're...

Stylish12MP digicam; 4x zoom; 3.5-inch touchscreen; HD video

Might be too small for some; high noise; short battery life

For snapshots and photos of friends, it's a winner. For those who want to move beyond that, look elsewhere.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 First Impressions Digital Camera Review

Introduction Sony's T900 is the next iteration of their ultra compact touch-screen design, succeeding the T700 in this line. The T900 features a large 3.5 inch touch-screen display with a 4x optical zoom lens. It packs this into a tiny body that's...

• Functional touch-screen • Large, high resolution display • Attractive design • Very small and portable • Price • Poor maximum aperture

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900

The Cybershot DSC-T900 is the latest ultra-sleek touch screen camera from Sony. It shoots 12-megapixel images, records 1280x720 HD video, and has a gorgeous 3.5-inch 920,000-dot screen

The great strength of this camera lies in its design. It's built for looks, with a sliding cover, thin profile, and non-extending lens. The LCD, which takes up the entire rear of the camera, is particularly attractive, with crystal clear image...

12 megapixel sensor, but takes noisy images and the small lens has major issues

Sharp images; Accurate colors

Serious chromatic aberration; Major distortion troubles

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is a gorgeous camera with some strong points, but also a number of glaring flaws. The camera’s most obvious strength is its size and design. At only 2/3 of an inch thick, and with a sleek sliding cover, it’s very easy on...

"It's small and takes good pictures"

I'll throw this in at the top of the review - I do not recommend this camera, especially now after 3 years.

-Some of the pictures are outstanding

-Battery life is dreadful

Consumer review by:

Very Good so far...

Had this camera for about a month and really like it. In "easy' mode, photo quality is lacking for the price. Takes some time to find that setting you need/want then the pic looks great - but again, I've only had it a month. Overall a really nice ......

Really like the responsive touch screen. Great HD video with R and L stereo sound - you can even zoom as you're filming

Although I'm not an expert, photo quality is lacking for the price in point and shoot/easy mode. Takes some playing around with settings (there's tons!) to get that great shot. But once you do, they look great

Consumer review by:

All features are awsome except the LCD screen

This camera is for those infrequent users who tend to use it on special occasions.

HD movie, zooming while shooting, clear images, stylish look

The quality of LCD isn't very good, it cannot handle enough pressure, so delicate
