Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V (Red)

Editors' note: Several of the design, features, and shooting options are identical between the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V and the Cyber-shot TX66 we reviewed earlier, so readers of the earlier review may experience some deja vu when reading the same...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V is a powerful and relatively fast-performing ultracompact camera capable of taking some high-quality snapshots and movie clips.

The TX200V is very expensive and its body collects fingerprints and the door covering its battery and ports seems insubstantial given its waterproofing.

If you're looking for the ultimate ultracompact point-and-shoot, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V is probably it. Too bad its price tag is ridiculously high.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V

This camera literally has every feature the style-conscious automatic user could want. You wont find manual modes here, but every other specification is essentially the best on the point-and-shoot market. The imaging is based on an 18.2 megapixel...

"Best compact camera on the market in April-May 2012"

Great pictures, the exmor s censor is incredible when it reduces the noises in the pictures, the zoom is excellent, the gps is quick, the design is superb

Short battery life ( If you buy it in Hk, like me, you can have a free battery with the original one), the lack of button for changing underwater from video mode to photo mode, the gps doesn't work in the water

"Really nice camera"

Beautiful design, incredible zoom, pictures look great, a lot of scene scelection, very nice waterproof functiojs and finally, it may be a little thing but the gps function. Is avaiable even if you are underwater

The battery isn't that good so i recommand to buy an other one. I had the lucj to have a free one when i bought my camera in Hong-Kong !!

A gem of a camera

It\'s a great camera, no matter the size, sharp images, a myriad of features and options, yet can be very easy to use. I only have problems remembering where are all the options and choices are in the menu. It\'s waterproof.
