Proprietary nightmare!!!

My advice is to check out the cost of all the proprietary stuff you need to use with these Sony devices. I bought a cheap replacement from the internet - the camera actually warned me about using 'compatible batteries only' and switched itself off! You can't buy a replacement battery unless Sony say it's ok! Thirdly, I visited THREE camera shops looking for a cable to allow us to watch the HD films on the telly and got told that they didn't stock "Sony cables". I will NEVER buy another Sony product because I feel they have robbed me by stealth. I have two other cameras - they use rechargeable batteries from the pound shop and mini-USB cables and SD card memory you can get anywhere. Why do I need special Sony memory, cables and batteries? Don't get ripped off like I did.

Good image stabilization, Good in low light, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time

Sony Cyber-shot W350

If you're looking for a inexpensive camera that's very small and light, the $199.99 (direct) 14.1-megapixel Sony Cyber-shot W350 should be on your short list. About the size of a pack of gum, the W350 delivers sharp images (as long as you're in...

Very small footprint. Good image quality in good lighting conditions. Wide-angle lens (26mm). User interface is easy to navigate. Sweep Panoramic mode

LCD is smaller than on many same-price cameras. Short 4x zoom. Proprietary connectivity options

The $200 Sony Cyber-shot W350 is small and light, and takes good pictures in good conditions—but in order to keep it svelte, this camera is missing a few features you'll find in same-price competitors.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 (Pink)

The point-and-shoot competition at and around $200 is fierce. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 brings a small, solid package at that price with a nice 26mm-equivalent wide-angle f2.7 lens, a 4x zoom with optical image stabilization, 2.7-inch LCD, and an HD...

Simple to operate; reliable auto shooting; 26mm-equivalent wide-angle lens; decent high ISO results.

Generally soft and somewhat noisy photos at full size.

A sweet little wide-angle compact, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 should make a lot of snapshooters happy.

26 mm wide-angle lens; Expansive panorama shooting mode; Low price

No manual options; Soft photo quality; HD output cable costs extra

Excellent design, but quality control varies

This tiny point and shoot camera is a gem. Though the image quality is not up to that of a first rate SLR, the W350's size, decent optics, and ease of use allow you to get darned good pictures you would otherwise miss. It is difficult to capture a ......

This camera packs many desirable features into a remarkably small unit. Decent wide angle and telephoto, HD video, panorama, reasonable low light sensitivity, effective optical stabilization. With the small size, I take it everywhere

Current Sony quality control not up to TQM standards. A W310 froze up out of the box. On return, I moved up to W350 - with defective LCD screen. Exchanged for W350 with no defects. Battery does not recharge by USB. Must use external charger

"Small, Cute, Useful, And Colorful."

So, I'm 13 and my dad just got me this camera for my Christmas present this year.

Easy to use, 26mm-equivalent wide-angle lens, & Can Bring Just About Anywhere.

Small, Noisy, Things Missing From What Was Said On Amazon, And Generally Soft.

"Good quality and excellent starter camera."
